Director – John Palatsides

John Palatsides has accumulated over 24 years experience in the Business equipment sales market including over 14 years in the Telecommunications industry. He has successfully owned a business equipment company for over 12 years in South Melbourne dealing with the SME market for the supply and service of business equipment. In 2001, the business was sold to a national telecommunications company and was employed with this group, predominantly managing the corporate division for 3 years and successfully achieved results well above market expectations.

Seeking a change in direction he accepted a position with a smaller telecommunications dealer in a sales role and increased the annual income of the telecommunications division of this company from 6% of the annual income to well over 40% within the first 12 months.

Following these results he was approached by his now previous employer to join the organization to start up the Fixed Line and TBS departments commencing in November of 2005. The first 3 months were used to setup the processes and find and employ the required staff and build the sales resources for the Fixed / TBS areas. Within the first 12 months of trading these departments with exceptional results were awarded the Telstra TBS Dealer of the year for 06/07.

Based on the successful commencement of these departments he was asked to start up the IT and Data team and developed a strategy to implement complex data into the mix of products and orchestrate a move towards IP technology to enhance the customer’s telecommunications structure promoting a converged solution as opposed to just the sale of a number of individual products.
